Gabrielle Dalton studied drama at Middlesex Polytechnic.

 

Her opera costume designs include: La Cenerentola, Cavalleria Rusticana, I Pagliacci, Trial by Jury, Le Nozze di Figaro, La fanciulla del West, Joshua, Ruddigore, Dido and Aeneas and La Voix humaine and Les Noces (all at Opera North), Carmen (Salzburg Festival), Turandot and Don Giovanni (Nationale Reisopera), Falstaff (Vienna State Opera), Fiddler on the Roof, Don Carlos, Idomeneo and Don Quichotte (Grange Park Opera) The Barber of Seville (Savoy Opera) Carmen (Opera North and Flanders Opera). 

 

Her theatre and dance work include: Richard III (West Yorkshire Playhouse), The Haunting of Hill House (Liverpool Everyman), Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (Young Vic), A Doll’s House (Young Vic, West End and BAM New York), Magical Night and Red Balloon (Linbury Studio Theatre for ROH2).
